Initial Purchase Cost

The cost of your dream new or used caravan or lodge will vary depending on your needs and budget. The great news is that we regularly offer a wide range of homes for sale, so you can be confident that you’ll have more than one perfect property to choose from.

Ongoing Costs

Before committing to your exciting new purchase you’ll want to gain a wider understanding of your ongoing costs. So let’s chat about money.

Gas and Electric

These costs will vary and be dependent on many factors, like how often you visit your holiday caravan or lodge and how cold the weather is!

Purchase Options - Cash and Third Party Finance

We invite new owners to purchase their caravan or lodge in one of two ways:

  • Pay in full. We can accept up to £9,000 in cash, with the remainder paid by cheque, debit/credit card or banker’s draft.
  • Through third-party finance. We recommend you contact any of the main high street banks or discuss finance options with your own bank.

Please get in touch with us for further guidance.

Site fees

Your site fee covers the cost of the land your caravan or lodge sits upon and for use of the park facilities and services. It goes towards general maintenance, security and upkeep of your chosen holiday park. At Barkers Leisure, we uphold very high standards and want your experience as a community resident to be a positive one.

Our site fees range from £3200 to £6000 depending on location, single or double pitch, and if it’s located on a new development. Here you can find the price range for each of our sites:

  • Pilbach: £3500 – £4400
  • Wide Horizons: £3800 – £6000
  • Aberdwylan: £3400 – £4200
  • Cross Park: £3900 – £6000
  • Red Roses: £3200 – £3800

Insurance

For peace of mind, we highly recommend Element Hinton insurance brokers for competitive insurance rates and excellent service. We would be happy to put you in touch with them for a chat.

Alternatively, you are welcome to use the insurance broker of your choice. Please be advised that you must purchase a ‘new for old’ policy, not ‘market value’. ‘New for old’ cover means that if your caravan has been stolen or damaged beyond repair, we will replace it with the most recent model, or its equivalent. A ‘market value’ policy will only offer the market value of the caravan at the time it was stolen or irreparably damaged.
